Thompson Fabrication is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our Team. Thompson Fabrication has been working in the waste industry, providing high quality containers and outstanding customer service, for 30 years.
Some job responsibilities will include:
- Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on engines, motors, grinder, welders and hand tools.
- Keep log of maintenance actions performed on equipment
- Maintain equipment parts and supplies in inventory
- Maintaining and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; including hydraulic valves, motors, 480 volt and electrical circuit detection and repair, welding, pneumatic cylinders, relays, switches
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Maintenance experience
- Ability to routinely lift, and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating outstanding organization, attention to detail, and planning abilities
- Must have a valid driver’s license & fork lift experience is a plus
- Auto mechanic background is a plus
